Obituary of Rose Marie Chasse

Rose M. Chasse, 94, passed away on September 1, 2022 at the Lincoln Specialty Center in Vineland. Born and raised in Vineland she was the daughter of the late John and Christine (Fragnito) DiPrimio. She attended Vineland High School and was a member of the Class of 1945. Rose was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Orchard Road PTA and also active in scouting. She served as Republican Committee Woman, Ward 1, District 6, for 30 years and also served as a poll worker for the Cumberland County Board of Elections. Rose was employed by the Board of Education serving for 11 years. More recently she became a volunteer at the Bishop McCarthy Residence where she enjoyed working with the elderly for more than 25 years. Rose is survived by her daughter-in-law Arlene Chasse; niece Deborah Zanetich; nephew John DiPrimio; cousin Robert Odorizzi who also was her caregiver as well as several other cousins. In addition to her parents Rose was predeceased by her husband Peter; son Robert; brother and sister-in-law Anthony "Tony" and Florence DiPrimio; and her nephew Anthony DiPrimio A special thank you to the staff of Lincoln Specialty Center and Suncrest Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care to Rose in her last days with us. A church visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 9:45am to 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at 11am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
