Obituary of Thomas S. Moleski
Deacon Tom Moleski, 71, died peacefully on August 22, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA. Tom was born on June 19, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas Moleski and Barbara (Arnoldin) Moleski. He married the love of his life, Bonny-Lee (House) in 1972 and the couple had three children together.
A "glass-man" at heart, Tom began his career in tabletop product development and marketing with Orrefors before transitioning to Durand Glass/Arc International in Millville, NJ until his retirement in 2016. He loved experiencing beauty through travel and enjoyed sharing a special glass of wine with those whose friendship he cherished, but he was most passionate about his faith.
The relationships forged through Cursillo, Lion of Judah, and his community of Franciscans (secular) served to guide, form and inspire him to answer the call to ordained ministry. On June 11, 2005, Tom was ordained to the deaconate in the Diocese of Camden, NJ. Throughout his ministry as a deacon, he was assigned to St. Francis/Divine Mercy Parish in Vineland, NJ. He considered it a tremendous blessing to know and serve the parishioners.
Deacon Tom is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Bonny-Lee; their children and grandchildren.
A church visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral mass at 11am from Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
