Obituary of Norman Nathan Herzberg

Norman Herzberg, b. May 12, 1922 Norman Herzberg, a lifelong resident of Vineland, died on April 29 at Greenwood House nursing home in Ewing, New Jersey. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Jewish War Veterans of Vineland. He worked for many years at National Freight Company and most recently at the Manischewitz Company, from which he retired in 1996. Mr. Herzberg is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lenora, also of Greenwood House in Ewing, and his sons, Bruce and his wife Judith of Boston, Robert of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Barry and his wife Diane of San Diego, as well as his grandchildren Anna and Rachel, and many loving relatives and friends. Infallibly kind and mild-mannered, Mr. Herzberg will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at Rone Funeral Home on Sunday, May 2, at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be sent to Beth Israel Synagogue in Vineland, Greenwood House at 53 Walter St. in Ewing 08628, or a charity of choice.
