Obituary of Tina Barnabei

Tina (Perrotti) Barnabei, 86, died August 13, 2010 at the South Jersey Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on November 26, 1923 in Waterford, New Jersey to Marco and Jennie (Buscemi) Perotti. Tina was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. She graduated from Vineland High School in 1942 and retired as a bookkeeper from Garwood Mills and Barnabei Plumbing. Following her retirement she was employed at Newcomb Hospital and Little Acres. Tina was an accomplished baker. Her breads, cakes and chocolate chip cookies were renown to family and friends. Celebrating your birthday with one of her chocolate cakes made it a special event. She also enjoyed reading, playing bingo, visiting the casinos and in recent years Tina could be found surfing the web, watching the Phillies and playing computer games. Sundays were especially reserved to visit with her great-grandchildren Ronnie and Lacey. She is survived by her son, John A. Barnabei, of Vineland; son, Ronald and wife Debbie Barnabei, of Vineland; grandson, Ronald and wife Kayley Barnabei; grandaughter, Lisa and husband Paul Coulter; great-grandchildren, Jessica, and Ronald III, Lacey Marie Barnabei, and Paul Coulter III. Tina was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, John Anthony Barnabei and her brother Thomas Perrotti, her sister Barbara Russo and her beloved dog Travis. A church visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30am to 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 1010 E. Landis Avenue, Vineland followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
