Obituary of Giacomo "Jack" J Ferrero

Giacomo"Jack" Ferrero, 85, of Vineland passed away peacefully on July 5, 2022 at the Lincoln Specialty Center. He was born in Vineland to the late Maggiorino and Amelia Ferrero. Giacomo honorably served in the US Army. In 1964, he married the love of his life Frances (Raymond), together they raised three children. Giacomo worked for Western Union Communications and also worked at the Philadelphia Ship Yard. He loved all Philadelphia sports teams especially the Phillies and watching the Eagles play. Giacomo loved to travel with his family, taking road trips around the east coast together. He enjoyed bird watching and had particular soft spot in his heart for his dog and kids. Giacomo also had a very good sense of humor, making puns and jokes with his family and friends. The family would like to thank the physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers at Inspira Medical Center and Bayada Hospice. He is survived by his three children, Ann (Matt Von Hendy), William and Carl; and his nieces, Amy Maines and Laura Michelon Schwegel. He was predeceased by his wife in 2008, Frances (Raymond) Ferrero; parents, Maggiorino and Amelia Ferrero and his sister, Lucy Michelon. A funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10 am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
