Obituary of Elaine Louise D'Ottavio

Elaine (Consalo) D'Ottavio, 80, of Vineland, went home to her Lord on May 28, 2022. Born November 19, 1941, to William Sr. and Louise Consalo in Woodbury, NJ and lived in Glassboro for 22 years. She has a graduate of Glassboro High School, Class of 1959, and later attended the Business School of Pennsylvania. She worked for the government branch of RCA and later for her family's business, William Consalo and Sons. It is there where she met and married Ronald D'Ottavio. They were married for 44 years until his passing in 2009. Together, along with their children, they ran their family business, R. D'Ottavio Farms. She was active in the business and sold produce at the Vineland Produce Auction. She enjoyed sports, riding her four-wheeler with her grandchildren, attending ice hockey games, football games, swim meets, cheerleading and T-Ball games. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Padre Pio Parish, the Grandparents' Association at St. Mary's School and the YMCA. Her favorite place to be was Sea Isle City, on the beach with her family. She is survived by her two sons, Leon and his wife, Kim (Farina) of Buena, and Michael and his wife, Nancy (Bradley) of Vineland; her daughter, Christine and husband, Ray (Sikora) of Little Egg Harbor; six grandchildren Angela, Erica and husband Kyle (Horne), Francesca and Nicholas Crisafulli, Anthony and Lee D'Ottavio, Jessica and Chase Sheffer, Jesse and Brett Sikora; great-granddaughter Savannah Rehm; and sister-in-laws, Hope Consalo and Doris Levari. Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Ronald D'Ottavio; her parents William Sr. and Louise Consalo; her in laws Callie and Regina D'Ottavio; grandson, Thomas Lee D'Ottavio; and her other beloved family members, William Jr. and Mildred Consalo, Vincent Consalo, Augustus and Dorothy Consalo, Anthony, Barbara and Alyce Consalo, Peter and Philomena Giunta, John Giunta, Tommy and Billy Consalo, Michael L. Gruccio, Jr., Arthur and Kay D'Ottavio, Nick and Danny Levari. Church visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 11am-1pm at St. Padre Pio Parish Church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Ave., Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at 1pm. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Vineland, NJ.
