Obituary of Eleanor A Coia

Eleanor (Levari) Coia of Buena Vista Twp. passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2022 at the age of 91, surrounded by her loving family. Eleanor was born in Vineland to the late Peter and Lena (Berti) Levari on January 20, 1931. She had many fond childhood memories of growing up on the farm with her five siblings. In 1954 she married Henry Coia Sr. where they celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing. Eleanor was a school bus driver for the Buena Regional School district, retiring after 30 years of service. She enjoyed going to the casinos and spending time with her family and friends. Eleanor will always be remembered for her unconditional love and kindness. She could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She was a great friend, mother, mom mom, and great mom mom. Thank you to Holy Redeemer Home Care and Hospice, especially Theresa, CC, and Jack, for the wonderful care you have given to Eleanor. Eleanor is survived by her three daughters and son in laws, Diane & Thomas Myers, Denise & George Melini, and Darlene & Joseph Zanghi; daughter in law, Ami Coia; grandchildren, Oreste John Rieti (Tammy), Jason Myers (Courtney), Matthew Rieti, Jaclyn Tantum (Michael), Jennifer Knuth (Curtis), Amanda Melini, Angela Zanghi, Alexandra Zanghi, Nicholas Zanghi, Henry Coia III, and Katrina Coia; and 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in laws, Louella Levari, Doris Levari, Loretta Wyckoff, and Helen Levari; and brother in law, Rudolph Cinotti. Eleanor joins her beloved husband, Henry "Sonny" Coia Sr.; daughter, Donna Marie Coia; son Henry Coia Jr. and grandson, Joseph Thomas Zanghi Jr. She is also predeceased by her four brothers, Peter Jr., Nicholas, Kenneth, and Robert Levari; sister, Gladys Cinotti; brother in law, Donald Wyckoff; and sister in law, Gloria Levari. Funeral home visitations will be held on Thursday evening, April 21, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm and again Friday morning April 22, 2022 from 9:15am to 10:15am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Friday morning at 11am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of St. Mary's, 736 Union Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
