Obituary of Fred Nucci

Fred Nucci Jr, 84, of Vineland passed away on Friday April 15, 2022 at the Bishop McCarthy Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare due to failing health. Fred was born and raised in Vineland to the late Emma (Ronchetti) and Fred Nucci Sr. where he remained a lifelong resident. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1956. In his younger years, he enjoyed helping his father Fred Sr. and his uncle, Lester Nucci, who owned and operated Nucci's Diner, at 418 Landis Avenue in Vineland. Later, he continued working with them at the Buena Vista Country Club. After more than 30 years working at Newcomb Hospital and later at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, he retired. Fred enjoyed his daily outings at his favorite restaurant, Golden Palace, where he spent time talking with many of his friends. He is survived by many relatives in Vineland and Florida, including cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends, who enjoyed his thoughtful conversations. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday evening April 22, 2022 from 6pm to 7pm followed by a funeral service at 7pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
