Obituary of Steven J Chipola

Steven "Chippy" "Animal" Chipola, 55, of Hopewell, NJ passed away on February 25, 2022. Steven was born and raised in Pittsgrove, NJ to his late parents Solve and Dolores (Grimaldi) Chipola. Steven worked professionally as a sheet metal worker with Local 27 for over 20 years. One of his favorite hobbies was softball, a pure passion of his, as well as the up keep of his yard, golf, his pets, and the time he'd spend with his family and friends. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Sharron (Chipola) and Mark Scott; brother Salve J. Chipola; his aunt Dora (Chipola) Leek; uncle Larry Grimaldi, and aunt Susie Grimaldi. He is also survived by his companion of nine years Dawn Casbarro, along with her two children Nicholas and Vincent Dellaquila; his niece and her husband, Melissa "Scott" and William Peterson Jr., Angela Chipola and Desirae Hamlyn; nephew Salve J Chipola Jr.; and his great niece Gianna Scott and great nephews Norton Scott and Wyatt Peterson. Along with his parents Steven was predeceased by his uncle Anthony "Sonny" Chipola and his aunt Teresa (Chipola) Crudo. A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1pm to 4pm followed by a funeral service at 4:00 pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Final disposition will be private. Masks are preferred for everyone's safety.
