Obituary of Judith Buscham

Judith A. Buscham 81 of Vineland N.J. passed away peacefully on February 17 2022 at Cumberland Manor, Bridgeton. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Cappellucci and Elizabeth (Ebner) Cappellucci. She was the oldest of four siblings. Judy graduated with a bachelor's degree of education from Glassboro State College and was dedicated to teaching for a little over thirty five years. Starting at Max Leuchter in Vineland, she soon left public school to raise three children. Once her children were of age to attend school, she returned to teaching second grade at Saint Rose of Lima in Newfield, where she remained for thirty years, witnessing it become Notre Dame. She retired from full time teaching in 2008 but remained a substitute for some time. Judy enjoyed weekends in Strathmere N.J. for almost all of her life, but found time to go to Vermont once a year and stay at the Famous Trapp Lodge that she and her husband had grown fond of, having honeymooned there over fifty years ago. At any family event, everyone would look forward to Judy's baking, especially her pumpkin pie, (although it is argued that her apple pie was superior) however, even if there was not a fresh pie baked, there was always some kind of sweet to be had when she kept her kitchen. Judy is survived by her husband of fifty seven years, William Buscham, as well as her three children, Lisa Jamison, Brian Buscham, and Tracy Buscham. Her sister Dianne Cappellucci, and her brother Anthony Cappellucci, and her grandson William Jamison. A church visitation will be held at Saint Rose of Lima Church 104 Catawba Ave. in Newfield on Thursday February 24 from 8:45 am to 10:45 am followed by a mass at 11:00 am. Graveside service and entombment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. At the Family's Request in lieu of flowers donations in memory of Judy may be made to Edgarton Christian Academy. P.O. Box 646, Newfield N.J. 08344. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland NJ 08360 To send online condolences please visit our website at www.RONEFUNERALSERVICE.COM.
