Obituary of Frank V Petriano

Frank V. Petriano, 94, of Vineland passed away on February 17, 2022 at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Anna Petriano. Frank honorably served in the US Army from 1946-1948 as a Platoon Sergeant in the Philippines and was also a marksman of the 2nd Platoon. He moved to Vineland in 1944 and worked at Eagle Eye Farm for his family's poultry farm. Frank also worked as the manager for the M.A.B. Paint Store in Vineland for 38 years. Frank enjoyed sports, especially baseball and fast pitch softball. He was inducted in the Greater Vineland Baseball League Hall of Fame in 2005. In his retirement he also enjoyed fishing, golfing and betting at the horse track. He was a member of the Diamond Social Club and the Landis Country Club. He is survived by his son, Joseph J Petriano and his niece, Deborah DiFelice DeCrescenzo Frank was predeceased by his wife, Frances "Chickie" Petriano; his parents, Joseph and Anna Petriano; three brothers and two sisters. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Everyone is asked to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
