Obituary of Salvatore H Zeuner

Salvatore "Sal" Zeuner, 83, of Vineland, passed away suddenly at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland on January 31, 2022. He was born in Bridgeton to the late William and Rita Zeuner. Sal attended Vineland High School and then joined the US Navy in 1956 where he was stationed on the USS Everglades as a diesel mechanic. Upon his honorable discharge from the Navy he continued to work in the same field as a mechanic. Sal owned and operated Peddlers East Bike Shop and started the BMX motor cross track at Giampietro Park in Vineland. He loved tinkering with race cars, watching NASCAR and taking trips with his wife Charlotte in their motor home out west to visit the national parks. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and crabbing. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Burke) Zeuner; son, Terrance Zeuner; daughter, Jennifer Zeuner; four grandchildren, Sadie, Sal, Heidi & Laura; six great-grandchildren, Ava, Carter, Liam, Sophia, Jace & Kayden; brother, William Zeuner (Judith); sister, Joan Buck; brothers-in-law, Joe Burke and Richard Burke; sister-in-law, Gail Burke; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his infant daughter, Mary Margaret; son, Sal Zeuner; and his grandson, Joshua. As per Sal's request his services will be private.
