Obituary of Henry Loretto Coia Jr

THE SATURDAY VISITATION AND FUNERAL MASS FOR HENRY COIA HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO MONDAY, JANUARY 31, 2022 Henry Loretto Coia, Jr. 54, of Buena Vista Township passed away on January 24, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center surrounded by his wife and children. He was born on November 27, 1967 in Vineland, NJ to Henry L. Coia, Sr. and Eleanor (Levari) Coia. He was the husband of Ami (Champion) Coia. They would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year. Henry was a 1986 graduate of Buena Regional High School. For many years, he worked along side his father in their family business Henry L. Coia & Son Trucking and later with Leone Produce and most recently Macrie Logistics & Sam Rodio Produce in Hammonton. Henry was a member of the Buena Vista Township Republican League and served on the Atlantic County Committee for BVT as a Municipal Leader. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children, nieces and nephews, and having laughs with his many loving friends. He was known to so many as "Uncle Henry". Henry was always ready for a party! He enjoyed going to baseball games, especially to watch his son's teams. He was an avid New York Yankees and Pittsburg Steelers fan. He was always ready for a road trip for a White House cheesesteak, or a trip to Pat's in Philly. He enjoyed family trips and vacations, especially to Florida. Henry will be greatly missed by one of his best friends, his dog, Snapple. Henry is survived by two children, Henry Loretto III and Katrina Marie; his mother, Eleanor; his sisters Darlene Zanghi, Denise Melini, and Diane Myers; his mother-in-law, Lauren Champion; a very special Aunt Chick Wyckoff, and honorary brother C. Milton Webster; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Henry had many great friends that he considered family. He was predeceased by his father, Henry L. Coia, Sr.; sister, Donna Marie Coia; and his father-in-law Earl T. Champion, Jr. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday evening, January 28th from 5pm to 8pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ and at the CHURCH on Monday morning, January 31th from 9:45am to 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at 11am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of St. Mary's, 736 Union Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery. Everyone is asked to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
