Obituary of Angelo F Ruberti

Angelo F. Ruberti Sr., 89, of Buena Vista Twp. passed away on January 17, 2022 at Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. Angelo was born in Vineland to the late Fred and Mary (Zanni) Ruberti. He was a honor graduate of Vineland High School Class of 1951. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy where he was stationed on the USS Randolph Aircraft Carrier CV-15 flight deck and was honorably discharged. Angelo worked as a Pharmaceutical Vial Engineer Supervisor, having worked for Kimble Glass KV-11 Dept., Comar Glass, Chase, Wheaton, Nipro and Worldwide Glass. Angelo was a family man, father figure and role model to many youth having coached Babe Ruth baseball and also was a Cub Scout troop leader at Sacred Heart Church. He was a golfer and master champion earning 10 green jackets and was an avid league bowler with his wife Carmella whom he just celebrated their 65 Wedding Anniversary. Angelo was a big fan of the Chicago Bears and the NY Yankees. He loved horse racing his favorite horse being Zenyatta and he was an avid Kentucky Derby attendee. He had a green thumb and loved his flowers and doing yardwork. His code of life was God, Little One & Family He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carmella "Little One" Ruberti; his two sons & daughters-in-law, Angelo Jr. & Jeanne Ruberti and Stephen & Sonia Ruberti; three grandchildren, Nancy Dempsey (Derek), Nicole (Rocket) Larcombe (Vince), and Jason Hallman; three great-grandchildren, Wayne, Luke & Ella; brother, Robert Ruberti; and his sister & brother-in-law, Barbara & Claude Marts; many nieces and nephews; As well as his extended family, Marlene Munson, John & Debbie Naples and Donald & Ava Naples. Along with his parents Angelo was predeceased by his brothers & sisters-in-law, Anthony & Grace Ruberti and Fred & Betty Jo Ruberti and brother-in-law Don Munson. A church visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22 from 8:45am to 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at 11am from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Masks are optional.
