Obituary of Angela Bucca

Angela Bucca, 94, resident of Spring Home at Galloway and formerly of Milmay, NJ passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. Angela, born to Michael and Ada Sposito, was raised in Mizpah, NJ. She graduated from what was then the Cooper School of Nursing and began her career as a Registered Nurse at the Newcomb Hospital in Vineland, NJ. After her nursing career, Angela went on to become the proprietor of a women`s clothing business and opened a store in Milmay. She and her husband, Placido, spent many memorable days with family and friends in North Wildwood and later spent their winters in Vero Beach, Florida. Cooking, baking, and spending time with family, especially all her nieces and nephews, were among Angela`s many interests, but one of her favorites was spending time at the Borgata Casino. Angela will be remembered for her always present desire to help others, her generosity and her kindness. Angela is survived by her daughter, Tina Bucca Symanski (Albert J. DeRosa Jr.); her sister, Eileen Bosco; nieces and nephews, Jacqueline Merighi (Tom), Dante Romanini (Karen), Toni Kolman (Brian), Michelle Carlson, Eileen Bosco, and L. Michael Yanniello (Sondra). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Angela was predeceased by her husband, Placido "Pete" Bucca; sisters and brothers-in-law Hilda and Nick Galli, Laura and Louis N. Yanniello; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Lena and Dante Romanini, Francis Bucca, and Anna and Peter Voltaggio. A church visitation will be held on Friday, December 3rd from 9:30am to 11am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Inurnment will follow in Our Lady Of Pompeii Cemetery, Vineland. Everyone is required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
