Obituary of Andrea Lynn Manno

Andrea "Andi" Manno, 73, of Pittsgrove Township and now The Villages, Florida, passed away on November 24, 2021. Andrea is one of the three children born to the late Stanley and Nanette (Greenwald) Robin. She grew up in Philadelphia, PA. She is a graduate of the Class of 1965 from Girls High, Philadelphia, PA and a graduate of the Class of 1969 from Glassboro State College. Andrea was an educator in the Pittsgrove Township School District for 35 years. After retiring from Olivet School in 2004, she continued as a substitute teacher for six years. She was not only a beloved and dedicated teacher but also a dedicated woman and leader in her community. She was part of the Pittsgrove Education Association, the Salem County Retired Teachers Association, the Millville Women's Club (first VP of the organization), a Cub Scout & Girl Scout leader, a member of Temple Beth Hillel - Beth Abraham synagogue, a teacher of Hebrew School, a provider of Friday night Shabbat services at the synagogue, and volunteered monthly (after retirement) at the Maurice House in Millville, NJ. Andi loved spending time with her family. She also loved to dance, to travel (visited all 50 states as well as traveled abroad), to play Bingo, and to take trips to the casino. Andi will always be remembered for her kindness, her generosity to others, her loving acceptance of all, and her ability to bring joy to any occasion. Her life lesson to all that knew her was that greatness and happiness are not in what you have; it is in what you give and do for others. Andi is survived by her sisters, Linda (Robin) Crusemire (Chuck) and Sheri-Ann (Robin) Goldsmith (Gary); her children, Ronald John (Janet), Joe Sr. (Christine), David (Rochele), Jason (Stefanie), and Annie Manno; and a very special person to the family, William Schaffer. She has 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and extended family members. Along with her parents, Andrea was predeceased by her husband and love of her life for 45 years, Ronald Manno. Funeral home visitations will be on Wednesday evening, December 1, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm and again on Thursday morning, December 2, 2021 from 9am-10am followed by a funeral service at 10:00am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Interment will be held following the service at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 380 Morias Avenue, Millville, NJ. Everyone is asked to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
