Obituary of Ines Bermudez

Ines Bermudez, 73, of Vineland went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at her son`s home in Lutz, Florida surrounded by family. Ines was better known to many as "Nancy" or "Mama." She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Ines was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, on November 26, 1948 to Felipe and Ines Cortes, both from Utuado. She moved to Vineland in 1958 and married the love of her life, Moises in 1964. Ines was a homemaker. She took great joy in cooking for everyone and spending time with her friends at Luther Acres. She enjoyed shopping with her partner in crime, her sister Julie. Above all, Ines enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Vineland Spanish Assemblies of God and later a member of Well of Hope Fellowship. She is survived by her two sons, Moises Jr. and wife Marisol of Lutz, FL and Javier and wife Crystal of Vineland; ten grandchildren, Crystal L., Erika L. Cruz, Alexis, Joshua, Melanie, Anthony, Moises III and wife Monica, Jazmine E, Seth X., and Rebekah I. Bermudez; eight great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Mariah, Lanyah, Neviah, Elisha, Julius, Royal, and Nina; one sister, Carmen (Julie), and her three brothers, Dennis, Felipe, and Alfredo. Ines was predeceased by her husband, Moises; her daughter, Annette; her parents, and four siblings. Church visitations will be held on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Friday morning from 9am to 10am followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am from Vineland Spanish Assembly Of God, 512 S 3rd Street, Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Everyone is required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
