Obituary of Jeanne Hennessy

Jeanne (Emig) Hennessy, 97, of Vineland passed away on November 5, 2021 at home surrounded by her beloved daughters. She was born in Philadelphia to the late George and Bess (McCabe) Emig. Jeanne was a resident of Vineland for the past 73 years. She worked as a registered nurse at Newcomb Hospital for 38 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, bowling and reading. Her greatest joy was caring for her family She is survived by her daughters, Karen Martin and Denise Newman; grandchildren, Megan Martin, Nicole (Pendola) Bruntz & Michael, and Amy (Pendola) Cotto & Ryan; and her six great-grandchildren. Along with her parents Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Walter; daughter, Susan; and her two sisters. A CHURCH visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9th from 10:30am to 11:30am followed by a funeral mass at 11:45 am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Sacred Heart, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Burial will be private. Everyone is required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
