Obituary of Fay Chamish

Fay (Goldstein) Chamish of Vineland passed away on November 5, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown. Fay was born in Poland to the late Benjamin and Henna Goldstein and was a Holocaust survivor. She married Murray Chamish and together they settled in Vineland in 1951. Fay owned and operated her own beauty salon and later helped Murray operate Murray's Men's Wear in Pennsauken, NJ. She was always active and giving to the Jewish community along with her friends and fellow Holocaust survivors. Fay was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was caring for her family. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Larry & Lennie Chamish and Steven & Jean Chamish; grandchildren, Heather, Stacy, Brian, Ben and Adam; and her great-grandchildren, Carter and Rylee. Fay was predeceased by her husband in 2012, Murray Chamish. A graveside service and burial will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 11:00 am from Alliance Cemetery, 970 Gershal Ave, Norma.
