Obituary of Connie Renauro

Conchetta Grace (Musto) Renauro, affectionately known as "Connie" or "Tootsie," 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 28, 2021. She was born on September 30, 1932 in Vineland to the late Nicholas and Anna (Pannullo) Musto. Connie spent most of her life in South Jersey and several years in California. Connie was known as the Avon lady at the Williamstown Farmers Market, where you could find her crocheting one-of-a-kind afghans and other handmade items. She was co-owner of The Pin Cushion with her husband in its early years. This is where she created unique garment designs alongside her brother and sister. Connie enjoyed working with people and spent most of her life in retail service. When her daughters were young, she was very involved in Pioneer Girls, Girl Scouts, and PTA. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing and making tapestries for the house. She baked wedding cakes, two of which were replicas of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a San Francisco trolley car. She loved spending free time in Avalon with her family and enjoyed going dancing with her sister. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Mainiero and Joe Mainiero; daughter Kimberly Renauro; grandchildren JoAnne Mainiero, Nicholas Cervini (Cynthia Luciano), Jacqueline Mainiero-Bryan (Dave), Richelle Cervini-Schneidt (Jeffrey) and Rich "Chickey" Renauro; her sister Loretta D'Ambrosio and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her infant daughter Ramona Mary in 1955; brothers, Nicholas and Anthony Musto, and ex-husband James Renauro. Special thanks to her caregivers at the Lincoln Specialty Care Center and Red Oak Hospice. A funeral home visitation will be held on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 4pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Burial will be private.
