Obituary of Candice G. Gallia-Enders
Candice Gallia-Enders, 51, of Buena Boro, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on October 29, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family. Originally from Landisville, Candice graduated from Buena Regional High School and attended Atlantic Cape Community College.
As a young girl she enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and boating. As an adult, she and her family appreciated all aspects of the outdoors, and she spent much of her free time with family and friends at their Pine Barrens property, affectionately known as "The Shack".
Candice was an avid reader, appreciated classic films, looked forward to watching her favorite TV shows, and enjoyed an occasional "Chick-fil-A Lemonade''. Candice spent her early professional life as a Title Agent and a Realtor. For the past 10+ years, Candice was a library assistant for the Buena Regional School District. She spent her time aiding faculty, staff and students in the High School and Middle School Libraries. She also acted as coordinator for the materials and services that Atlantic County Library offers to schools and select communities.
Candice was extremely proud of her family and was so thankful and grateful to be a wife, mother and grandmother. Her most beloved role was being a "Mimi" to her two grandchildren, Callie and Lucas. She adored them beyond measure. Candice will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a special person who put everyone's needs before her own and gave without question.
Candice is survived by her parents, Dr. Thomas and Donna Gallia; her brother Thomas Gallia Jr. and his wife Melanie; her husband of 27 years, Daniel Enders, who was her high school sweetheart and soulmate; three daughters, Samantha and her husband Stephen Merlock, Andrea Enders, and Melissa Enders; two grandchildren, Callie and Lucas Merlock, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Enders and Gallia family wish to thank the staff at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland for their incredible support during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made in Candice's name to the either The Gift of Life Family House (https://www.giftoflifefamilyhouse.org/) or to the Gallia Family Scholarship Fund c/o Rowan University Foundation, 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro NJ 08028.
A church visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 9am to 12pm followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 pm from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Burial will be private.
Everyone must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
