Obituary of Sarah N. Laiacona

Sarah Nicasia (Abbruscato) Laiacona, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on October 13, 2021. Sarah was born on July 26, 1931 in Vineland, New Jersey, a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 1949, and was a long-time resident of Vineland. She was a devoted and loving mother who very much enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Donna Laiacona and Robert S. Laiacona, her brother Frank Abbruscato, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Taddeo (Ted) F. Laiacona, MD, parents John and Ida (Zoida) Abbruscato, sister, Maryann (Abbruscato) Bernardini, and brothers and sisters in-law. At Sarah's request, a private viewing and Funeral Mass will be held from Christ the Good Shepherd Parish- Church of St. Isidore. She will be laid to rest privately in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
