Obituary of Barbara Prospero

Barbara Marie Prospero (Goodman), age 78, passed away peacefully in her home Sunday afternoon. Born and raised in Media, Pennsylvania, Barbara graduated from Media High School in 1961. Thereafter, she pursued a career in Phlebotomy before meeting and marrying her husband, Paul Prospero. Together they owned and operated the successful and well-known Aladdin Motel in Wildwood, NJ for over 30 years, as well as her own needle-craft shop, The Salty Dog. Barbara was deeply beloved by her family and close friends, and could light up any room just by being in it. She loved traveling, antiquing, and animals of all kinds. Barbara will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Jim Prospero (Lisa); sister-in-law Michelle Prospero-Oliver; niece, Carla Meneghetti (Prospero); and nephews Jimmy and Robert Prospero.
