Obituary of Patricia A Beddia

Patricia Alwilda (Booth) Beddia, was born August 21, 1928 in Chester, PA. After graduating from Stenotype School, she worked at Sunoco Corporate Offices in Philadelphia for over 30 years. Pat grew up and lived in Media, PA until 1972 when she moved to Barrington, NJ. She later moved to Avalon, NJ in 1981 where she lived as a full-time resident. Over the years, Pat was a member of the Avalon Garden Club, Avalon Bridge Club, St. Brendan the Navigator Rosary Group and the Avalon Seniors, where she enjoyed the many trips they offered all over the world. Pat loved animals and was very generous over the years to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary located in Utah. She was a firm believer in giving all God's creatures love and kindness throughout their lives. Pat is survived by her two stepsons, Stephen Beddia (Patricia) and Kenneth Beddia (Penny). She is also survived by four step-grandchildren, Jason Beddia (Kimberly), Jeffrey Beddia, Elissa Zingler (Christopher) and Courtney Beddia and 3 step-great-grandchildren, Karoline Beddia, Nora Zingler and Rowan Zingler. Pat is predeceased by her late husband, Amodeo "Sam" Beddia. A church visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 9am to 9:30am followed by a Memorial Mass at 9:30 am from Maris Stella Church, 5012 Dune Drive, Avalon. Final disposition will be private. Please wear a mask in church regardless of vaccination status.
