Obituary of Ellen M Weightman

Ellen Marie "Sis" Weightman, 72, of Dorothy, passed away on August 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Avondale, New Foundland, she immigrated from Canada to Philadelphia at the age of one with her mother and 2 brothers. She met her husband Daniel in early 1967 and married later that year. They moved to South Jersey shortly after and raised three children. She worked at Harrah's Casino for 20+ years. After retiring she became a teacher's aide for the Buena School system. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Daniel Weightman Sr, of Dorothy; sons, Daniel Weightman Jr, (Renee) of Estell Manor And Michael Weightman (Kim) of Dorothy; daughter, Tina Weightman-Martin (Charles) of Milmay; Sherri Madara-Weightman and her eight grandchildren, Katheryn, Jewell, Daniel III, Kenny; Joshua, Tyler, Patrick & Dylan. A funeral home visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21st from 1pm to 2pm followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Burial will be private.
