Since the funeral service I have had time to reflect on just how special a person Mike was. The wonderful tributes to him certainly attest to that fact. I will be forever indebted to him for being so kind to my parents. My father absolutely adored Mike. I'll never forget Mike allowing him to introduce the Quaker City Spring Band at Moores a month before dad died. Mom received a Christmas basket from Mike every year without fail. Mike's outgoing personality and love of life, family and friends made everyone around him feel better. As stated during the tributes, the world would be a better place, if we could all be a little more like Mike Guadagno. It is said that "what one earns makes a living, but what one gives makes a life". Mike gave so much to so many for so long . A life well done. I'll never forget him. Booth

At this difficult time I want to try to share with you how much I appreciate Mike’s legacy. I have known him through my dear friendship with his daughter over the past 32 years. I have known his positive influence and support was always there for her and was cherished. I knew the very high esteem her friends spoke of him and Nancy. They were the parents everyone was comfortable with both welcoming, warm with high standards and faith in daughter and their friends. So generous, that for example when they visited Anita at college they never hesitated to take out all her homesick friends for a generous meal. As a grand-parent Mr. Guadagno also seemed to be the ideal, he was a consistent and caring presence for his grandson Mikey and support for Anita & Clyde as a result. Clearly he will be sorely missed, by so many. He was special and truly one of a kind, but I know he will live on in his loved ones who will carry on his legacy of character, warmth and spirit. My deepest sympathy and love goes out to you Nancy and to Anita, Clyde & Mikey.

My Dear Sweet Michael, No matter how busy you were, No matter what was happening around you, No matter what, you were never TOO busy to kiss a cheek, shake a hand and in my case toss me a sweat shirt on a very cold night just so I wouldn't have to go all the way home to get change. I know you're smiling down at us with John Cocci by your side. Rest in peace my friend, you will truly be missed by many people!

Dear Sweet Michael, No matter how busy you were, you always took time to kiss a cheek, shake a hand or make small talk with the thousands of people that crossed the doorway at Moores. I can only think that you and Cocci are smiling down at all of us. You will truly be missed by many. Sincerely with deepest regrets of your sudden passing, Donna xo

Nancy, Anita, Clyde and Mikey, Michael will be sadly missed by all of us. We will never forget his smile, kindness and generosity. He was truly one in a million. He treated our son Vincent like a member of your family. Michael has become a positive influence in Vincents life. We are eternally grateful. We feel blessed to have known him and proud to call him our friend. We can not imagine what you are all going through but always remember, God has a plan. Michael is now your guardian angel. You will all be in our prayers.

The memories of you Mike will never fade. I looked forward to your smile and visits to Anita's house every Saturday to see Mikey while I was babysitting. Your big, warm loving hugs were so heart felt and unforgettable. I admired you as a father and grandfather to Anita and Mikey. The bond you had with them was beautiful and unbreakable. You were an amazing proud father, grandfather, husband and friend to many. You will be missed so much by all of us. Heaven is going to get a big kick out of you and going to be whole lot brighter. Those who know you will now bask in your loving light. Rest in peace Mike. You will never be forgotten. My heart felt prayers to Nancy, Anita and family. I love you xx

I will always remember your ever cheerful outlook on life and your kindness to all you came in contact with. I have many Moores Inlet sweatshirts that kept me warm during Mikey and Tyler's baseball games. At the first cool breeze, you would go to your car and get sweatshirts for Anita and I. That was the beginning of many years of thought provoking conversations. Mike, you will be so very missed by all who knew you. My prayers go out to Nancy, Anita and Mikey. Love, Cindy and Bob

He will always be loved and never ever forgotten! Our sorrow is immense, but heaven is rejoicing. Mickey loved pork and beans with Italian bread and butter as a teenager. Love you Mickey!
