Josephine was a good friend of my aunt, June Costello. They met when they both worked in the Clayton School system. Even though Aunt June stayed as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Clayton Schools for fifty years and Josephine left to teach in North Jersey, they remained close friends until Aunt June passed away. I only met Josephine twice and was only in her company for a short time, I could tell why Aunt June considered her a good friend; she was gracious and kind. Josephine stayed in contact during Aunt June's last difficult years... with phone calls and letters. My condolences go out to her family and friends.

We always loved our “Aunt” Jo, who was a family friend, and our honorary aunt. She had a joy for life, a kind spirit, and a generous heart.
An excellent math teacher, a good artist and gardener, she had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. She will be missed.
Heaven has just gained a new angel.

My condolences go out to all of Jo's family and friends. Jo always had a smile and was there to help whenever she could. She was a great member of the Woman's Club of Vineland, always welcoming and giving of herself to whatever or whoever was in need. Jo was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be truly missed. May she rest in peace.

So Sorry to hear of the passing of our VHS Class of "43" classmate. Jo was one of a kind and never can
be replaced-she was on my committee for our 78th Class Re-Union. RIP Jo, you will be sorely missed by all who knew or came in contact with you.

Beautiful remembrance of my best friend, Jo. She helped me in more ways and more times than I can remember. I will always miss all her kindness, advice and understanding when I was going through troubled times. Love you Jo, forevermore. Suzanne Piccone
