Obituary of Rafaela A. Delgado

Rafaela A. Delgado, affectionately known as "Dora", 86, of Vineland, went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. Dora was born on March 16, 1935 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to the late Alfonso Gonzalez and Juana Mercado Dora was a loving and devoted mother and Abuelita. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and walks. Dora was a very kind and giving person and never missed her monthly donations to St Jude Children's Research Hospital. She worked as a machine operator for many years at Crown Clothing and DeRossi and Sons. She was a devoted catholic strengthened by her daily devotion. She is survived by her children who will miss her greatly, Norma Watson (William), Robert Delgado (Brenda); Liliam Bell (Charles). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Brooke Gray, Tory Watson, Vaughn Watson, Katherine Delgado, Robert F. Delgado, Noel Quiles, Lavar Gibson, Malacki Gibson, Gabrielle Arroyo, Jeffrye Arroyo Jr. and was blessed by her great-grandchildren, Jaidah, Jessiannie, Tori, Lavar, James, Easton, Gianna & Noreen. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
