Obituary of Julia E. Gribble

Julia Elizabeth Gribble, 91, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Genesis Eldercare in Millville, after an extended illness. Julia was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 16, 1915 to the late William & Elsie ( ) McLaughlin. After growing up in Philadelphia, PA, Julia married Alfred James Gribble, and moved to Vineland in 1938. During the early part of World War II, she resided at various military bases throughout the United States with her husband Alfred. She was proud to be a military wife. Julia graduated from Glassboro State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She owned and operated Jack & Jill Nursery School for thirty years. Julia was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
