Obituary of John Carter

John W. "Bulldog" Carter Jr. passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2021 in Vineland. He originally was born in North Jersey but was a Vineland resident for many years. John was employed by the Vineland Public Schools for 25 years until recently retiring last year. He was an active member of Base Nam Motorcycle Club. He also volunteered for several years with his late wife on the Vineland Rescue Squad. He is survived by his mother Membrance Stidham; stepfather Danny; father John Carter Sr. and stepmother Virginia. He has three stepsons Sandro Lopez (Diane Franco) of Newfield, Ruben Ocasio (Johanna) of Vineland, and Robert Villanueva (Julie) of Florida; brother Wayne Carter, two stepbrothers Phillip, and David Hayes and a stepsister Michelle Nichols; ten step-grandchildren Valinda, Rochel, Nyasia, Aliyah, Davina, Brittany, Madeline, Samuel, Brayden and Ariella and ten step great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Josefina Carter; stepbrother Bobby Carter and brother in law Samuel Villanueva. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Sandro Lopez to help with unexpected funeral expenses. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
