Obituary of Anna Ehlen

Anna M. (Cifaloglio) Ehlen passed away February 25, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. She was born in Forest Grove, NJ on April 6, 1928 to the late Michael and Carmela (Crescitelli) Cifaloglio and grew up on the family farm on Weymouth Road. At a young age she began working on the farm. Anna was employed at Hoover & Sons as a sewing factory machine operator from 1945 until 1975 and then worked at Sparagna's from 1975 to 1990. She married Harry Ehlen in 1953 and together they were married for over 63 years. She was loved by everyone who met her and was known for her cooking and baking especially her pizzelles and birthday cake. Anna loved to dance and never missed a party! She also loved flowers, was an avid gardener and always had a large garden. She enjoyed giving away her vegetables to everyone. Anna is survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she affectionally called "her kids". Anna is also survived by her brother-in-law Larry Venere. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Ehlen; brothers and sisters-in-law Silvio & Sue Cifaloglio and Peter & Phil Cifaloglio; sister Philomena Venere; sister and brother-in-law Lucy & Leo Ferus, and her nephews Michael Cifaloglio and Leo Ferus III. The family wishes to thank her special caregivers Martha Guzman and Irine Jgerenaia. Due to COVID-19 restrictions everyone is required to wear a mask and social distance. A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
