Obituary of Dominick Principe

Dominick Principe, 87, of Pittsgrove Twp., passed away on January 11, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Dominick was born in Jersey City to the late Dominick and Florence Principe. He grew up in East Vineland but spent most of his adult life in Newfield where he resided for over 50+ years before moving to Pittsgrove Twp. Dom worked at the Peerless Pearl Button Factory from the age of 16 and retired as the owner of the company at the age of 72. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes and golf with his friends. He was a great storyteller and loved spinning his yarns on his children and grandchildren. In his later years, Dom received most of his enjoyment from dinners out and playing with his dogs, Gia and Buddy. He is survived by wife of 70 years, Barbara (Wortham) Principe; children, Patricia Vess, Donna Scarpa, Michael Principe Sr., Terri Giordano, Dominick Principe, Wayne Principe, Andrea Glaser & Diane Cavagnaro; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; his brother, Albert Volk; and his sisters, Florence Gatto & Carol Stabile. Dom was predeceased by his daughter, Barbara Ann Singer; grandson, Joseph Singer; parents, Dominick & Florence Principe; stepfather, Albert Volk; sister, Margaret Laurerman and his brother Frank Principe.
