Obituary of Monserrate Perez

Monserrate Perez, 93, of Vineland, passed away on January 12, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. She was affectionately known as "Mama" by family and friends. She was born in Camuy, PR to the late Juan and Maria Rodriguez. "Mama" lived in Lakeland, Florida and also in Landisville, NJ. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a passion for cooking, animals and caring for her children. She is survived by her children, Alfredo Perez, Maria Luisa Perez, Maria Monserrate Perez, Rosa Perez, Obilio Perez, and Hector Perez; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, she was also loved by many nieces and nephews. "Mama" was predeceased by her husband Virginio Perez in 1994 and grandson Michael Perez in 2007, and great-grandson Maximus Centeno in 2009. Due to COVID-19 restrictions everyone must wear a mask and social distance. A graveside service and burial will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 1:30 pm from Greenwood Memorial Park, 10th & Broad St., Millville.
