Obituary of David Mattioli Sr.

David Mattioli, Sr., 65, of Burlington Twp., NJ, passed away on Dec. 23rd, 2020 in his home. David was born in Landisville, NJ to the late Louis Mattioli and Dorothy Whitton on June 17th, 1955. He went to high school at Sacred Heart High School, graduating in 1973. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Glassboro State College. David worked in management for Sears for 43 years. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren, and going on cruises with his wife and friends. While growing up in Landisville, David served as an altar boy at Our Lady of Victory Church and for many years played football for the Buena Braves. David was later involved in the Jaycee's and Gloucester Twp. Football. David is survived by his wife of 42 years Phyllis Mattioli; his son David Mattioli and his wife Tracy Mattioli; daughter Melissa Berrios and her husband Maximo Berrios Sr.; brother Louis Mattioli Jr. and his wife Toni Mattioli; and his grandchildren Maximo Berrios Jr., Jamisyn Mattioli and Meya Berrios. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at a later date.
