Obituary of Richard Paul Brignolo

Richard P. Brignolo, 63, a lifelong resident of Vineland, passed away on December 17, 2020. Richard graduated Vineland High School in 1978 in the first Special Education Class. He participated in the Special Olympics. He was a Boy Scout in the only Community Handicapped Troop in Vineland, where he enjoyed camping, earning badges and was honored to receive the Catholic Church's Religious Award, Ad Altare Dei, being the only mentally handicapped scout to receive this award in the Camden Dioceses. Richard volunteered for the American Cancer Society for many years, and received many awards for his years of service. Richard enjoyed bowling, miniature golf, ceramic painting, movies, bus trips and the casinos He attended the PAFACOM where he enjoyed many activities and seeing friends there. He is survived by his mother Alice (Perri) Brignolo; brother, Larry Brignolo and his wife Nan; nephew Michael; nieces Jennifer and Michele; seven great nephews; two great nieces and one great-great nephew; as well as many cousins He was predeceased by his father Lawrence Brignolo Sr and his grandparents. A private graveside service and burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Due to COVID-19 restrictions everyone must wear a mask and social distance.
