Obituary of Dorothy K. DePalma

Dorothy (Downs) DePalma, 95, of Vineland, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020 at the Lincoln Specialty Center in Vineland. She was born in Vineland to the late Ursel and Kathryn Downs. Dorothy graduated from Vineland High School in 1944 and worked for over 20 years as a hairdresser at MaryAnn's Beauty Salon. She enjoyed music, dancing, reading and cooking. She also worked as a Sunday school teacher at the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Doreen Denise DePalma and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Roy DePalma; brother, Stephen Downs and her sister, Evelyn Shaiko. Due to COVID-19 restrictions everyone must wear a mask and social distance. A graveside service and burial will be held on Thursday, December 17 at 2pm in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
