Obituary of Sylvan Goldfein

Sylvan "Shy" Goldfein, 82 of Norma died Monday, February 4. 2008 in the Rainbow Nursing Home in Pittsgrove. Born in Vineland to the late Morris and Gussie (Spitzer) Goldfein before moving to Norma where he lived most of his life. A graduate of Vineland High School with the class of 1943, "Shy" served in the United States Navy during WW II. He was employed as a production foreman with the Manischewitz Food Products in Vineland for 30 years. A Charter member of the Jewish War Vets; Sky was a life member of the Disabled War Vets and was a member the Alliance Synogouge of Pittsgrove. Sky was an honorary member of the Alliance Cemetery in Norma.
