Obituary of Vera Bajan

Vera Bajan, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at her home in Landisville after a six month illness. She was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. During WWII, she was interred in a German work-camp never to see her parents or siblings again. She survived the war and met her husband Paul during the liberation. They escaped to Austria where their daughter Larissa was born. Later, the family emigrated to Brazil, and then settled in the United States. She was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband, Paul for more than 56 years. Vera loved her flower garden; she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and her pets. She especially enjoyed traveling with her family to Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean and Las Vegas. Vera loved the casino, shopping, and getting her "hair-do" on Saturday mornings. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all.
