Obituary of Edward Carlo Frasco

Edward "Ed" Frasco, 88, of Vineland passed away on Friday, November 27, 2009 in his home. Born in Vineland to Ricardo and Margaret Frasco, Ed was a lifelong resident. Married for 66 years to Eleanor (Gabardi), Ed served in the Army during World War II as a radar technician. During his Army tenure, he was awarded the American Service Medal, the European-African Middle Eastern Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. Following the War, Ed worked as a regional auditor for the State of New Jersey. After retiring from the State after 27 years, he provided income tax services to local residents and businesses until retiring in 2004. Ed was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, and is survived by his wife Eleanor, his son Brian and his wife Ellen of Princeton, grandchildren Jason and Lauren Frasco of Manhattan. His daughter Lorraine Frasco and two brothers, Richard and Carlo Frasco, predeceased Ed. A Church Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 9 am to 11 am at St. Isidore The Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland, followed by Ed’s Funeral Liturgy beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
