Obituary of Jack Foss

Jack Foss, 81, of Vineland passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009, at the Homecare & Hospice Care of South Jersey in Bridgeton. He was born to the late Bertha (Sabul) and Louis Foss. Jack was a graduate of Vineland High School; and served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged. He joined his father in the family business , Foss & Company, Inc., located on Landis and 7th Street. The business moved to Delsea Drive in 1953 and Jack retired in 2007. Jack was active in the Little Theater of Vineland. He enjoyed reading and was a benefactor to the Vineland Library. He is survived by his wife Meleana Foss of Vineland; sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Cy Baltuz of Vineland; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
