Obituary of Robert Figueroa

Robert J. Figueroa, loving husband, father and son. Our beloved Robert John Figueroa well known as "Bobby" passed at the young age of 42 years old from a long-term illness on May 1, 2010 at home surrounded by his family and friends and his dear and special cousin Lorraine Montalvo. Bobby was born in Vineland on September 26, 1967 and was a graduate of Vineland Senior High School. He is survived by his wife Sonia Teresa (Torres) Figueroa; his 5 children Chaliah Figueroa, Giani Figueroa, Miranda Silva, Sebastian Figueroa, Sabrina Figueroa; and his mother Anna M. Figueroa; his siblings Pedro L. Figueroa, Maryann Linda Romero, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Luis Angel Figueroa. In his early years he was a youth leader of the Jornadas Bobby honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Eucharist Minister and a Cursillista at The Spanish Catholic Center. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral home visitations will be held on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday 9:00 to 10:00 AM from Rone Funeral Service, with a funeral mass to follow on Friday at 10:30 AM from Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
