Obituary of Anthony J. Asselta

Anthony Asselta passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2009. He was born in Vineland and is the son of the late Carmella and Anthony Asselta, Jr. Anthony was a life long resident of Vineland. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving during World War II. He was a glass worker for Durand Glass Co. and was a truck driver for Keebler Food Company. Tony was an exceptional athlete, who had aspirations of becoming a major league baseball player. Anthony was a custodian for the Vineland Board of Education at Mennies Elementary School for 25 years and he was instrumental in starting Asselta Mechanical in Vineland. He was a devoted husband and father.
