Obituary of Joseph Farabella

Joseph D. "Sonny" Farabella, 79, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. He was born to the late Angelo and Theresa (Solazzo) Farabella and was raised in the Minotola and Buena area where he attended Minotola schools. He recently resided with his cousins Bruce and Cecilia Tasso in Vineland. Sonny worked at Model Blouse for 47 years. He was a deacon at the 7th Day Adventist Church in Newtonville and was an avid Phillies fan and knowledgeable regarding baseball. Friends and family would go to him to settle baseball disputes. Sonny enjoyed his family and special friend Dolores Evans. He had a special gift for remembering people, dates and names. The family wuld always refer to him when in doubt of a name, person or date. Sonny was always a perfect gentleman, He is survived by aunts Rita Ann Ronchetti of Vineland, Josephine Franks of Cincinnatti, Ohio and Marie Tasso of Vineland and special cousins Bruce, Cecilia and Eugene A. Tasso and many other cousins.
