Obituary of Nathan Dunkelman

Nathan Dunkelman, 81, of Vineland, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009, surrounded by his family. Born in Lodz, Poland, he moved to Vineland in 1952. A Holocaust survivor who lost both his parents, Jacob and Sarah and three brothers. Nathan was the founder, owner and operator of Dunkelman Farms in Vineland for over 57 years. He was a very active member of Beth Israel Synagogue. He enjoyed going to the YMCA. Nathan was very charitable to many local and national organizations. He especially enjoyed being with his family and playing cards with his friends. Survivors are his wife of 61 yers, Fela (Rosencwaig) Dunkelman. his three children, Jack and his wife Karen Dunkelman, Susan Schaeffer and Eva Rosenberg, his gandchildren, David and his wife Dana Dunkelman, Charles Schaeffer,Samantha Schaeffer, Lindsey Rosenberg, Benjamin Rosenberg, Jennifer Calhoun and Richard Rosenberg and his great-granddaughter, Maya Dunkelman.
