Obituary of Frank Angelo Donzola

Frank A. Donzola Sr. 86 passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at South Jersey Healthcare Hospice Care Center in Bridgeton after a brief illness. Born in Vineland to the late Joseph and Christina (Comparri) Donzola, he was a lifelong resident. Frank was a proud army veteran of WWII, and received the World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic PacificCampaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Frank was employed by Kimble Glass for 42 years. After his retirement from Kimble Glass he returned to work part-time for Myles Construction Company. Frank was an avid gardener who was also interested in all forms of racing. Throughout the years, he was involved in several local racing teams, making good friends along the way. He enjoyed traveling, whenever he had the oppurtunity to do so. One of his favorite day trips was visiting the Atlantic City Casinos. Frank was a quiet man who was known for his gentle nature and his sense of humor. His other main interest in life was being with his family, particularly his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
