Obituary of Agnes L. Donina

Agnes L. Donina, 90, of Cranberry Run, Buena, NJ, formerly of Courtney, PApassed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at her home. She was born November 1, 1917, in Monongahela, PA, the daughter of Michael and Johanna (Trebse) Cilensek. All Saints Day had special meaning for the family. Agnes married Emanuel Donina on May 9, 1938. He predeceased her in 1993. Agnes always led a very active and fun social life. She loved playing pinochle, bingo and Pokeno with her Cranberry Run friends. She was famous forall the good food that came out of her kitchen especially her pizza, ravioli, polenta, potica and apple pie.She actually liked housecleaning and wahing windows. Mrs. Donina was an avid reader and loved watching movies. She enjoyed Penn State footbal, the Eagles, dance and ice-skating competitions. She loved gardening and enjoyed her blooming roses and lillies each year. Mrs. Donina was proud of her Slovenian roots. She loved cruising and was a world traveler. Her most memorable journey was to the birthplace of her mother in Slovenia. She was a loving, deeply caring and generous wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
