Obituary of Hugo A. DiFelice

Hugo A. DiFelice, 82, of Vineland passed away Monday, July 13, 2009. He was at home surrounded by his family, after a short battle with lung cancer. Hugo was born to Angelo Antonio and Modesta ( Blanzola) DiFelice on October 30, 1926 in Paulsboro, NJ. He graduated from Paulsboro High School, where he was voted best dancer. He worked at Mobile Oil Refinery in oil movements as Head Pumper where he retired after 33 years. He was a member of St. Anthony's Club in Paulsboro, as well as the Diamond Social Club, Landis Country Club, Sicilian American Club of South Jersey and the Eastland Golf Course. Hugo loved music and was in the St. Anthony's Marching Band. He also was a member of the 4 Blue Jay's musical group. He played saxaphone and clarinet. Hugo enjoyed golf, friday night dinners at the Hickory Gun Club, horse racing and dancing. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.
