Obituary of Florence Dente

Florence Dente, 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2012. Florence, was known as "Tootsie" by her family. She was a well liked resident at Hammonton Center and always greeted everyone with a smile and was never afraid to give you her opinion. Florence was born in North jersey but moved to Vineland as a teenager. With 8 children recovering from the depression it wasn't easy for her parents Carmen & Ursula (Grossi) Dente. so Florence left school at 16 years old to work for Owens- Illinois (Kimble Glass) as a glass packer, where she worked for 48 years until her retirement.
