Obituary of Rose DeBellis

Rose E. DeBellis, 83, formerly of Woodbury, Glassboro, and Wildwood, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Avista Care Center in Cherry Hill. She was born in Malaga and recently resided with her daughter in Cherry Hill. Rose co-owned and operated along with her late husband, Anthony, the Brownstone Tavern in Franklinville, A-1 Floor Covering in Woodbury, Rose's Restaurant and Wayne Anthony Hotel in Wildwood and several other businesses throughout South Jersey. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rose will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Judy DeBellis of Cherry Hill, five sisters, Marie Zorzi of Landisville, Rita Lisa of Glassboro, Jennie Zollo of Lebanon, PA, Margie D'Amico of Glassboro, Gloria Costa of Glassboro, brother-in-law and his wife, Basil and Ann DeBellis of Bridgeton, grandson and his wife Tony and Janet DeBellis of New Ipsurich, NH, grandson, Michael DeBellis of Vineland, and three great grandchildren, Jack, Celia and Michael. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony DeBellis in 1993 and son Wayne Anthony DeBellis in 1980.
