I visited Mary about 6 years ago with my mom (Alice Perugini) and I found her so lovely and interesting. We had many discussions about her books and of course she showed us her garden. Once, shortly afterwards, I had her over for dinner with my family. We really enjoyed her company. My Mother considered Mary a good friend and former neighbor.My sister Maryann Perugini-Dimetroff has continued to stay in touch with her and kept me abreast on Mary's well being. We will miss her Mary.
